CAFC/DyakCraft Raffle Rules

Eligibility: The raffle is open to those who make donations through the rallyup.com website. The Raffle is subject to all applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations. Void where prohibited.

Giveaway Period: Entries will be accepted online starting on Sunday, September 20, 2020 at 12:01 AM EST and ending on Tuesday, September 22, 2020 at 11:59PM, EST.

How to Enter: The Raffle may be entered by making a donation for Raffle Tickets using the online form provided at https://go.rallyup.com/cafcraffle

Prize: One winner will receive a Made in Vermont DyakCraft Knitting package valued at $700.00.

  • A set of Darn Pretty™ Spring Forest five-inch interchangeable knitting needles, handmade in Vermont by Tom Diak; US 3/3.25 mm through US 10/6.00 mm, including three coated wire cables and four DC logo stops

  • A custom needle roll crafted from one of Linda’s quilting explorations

  • A notions pouch to hold cables, stops, snips, and a gauge

  • A DyakCraft needle gauge made by HipStrings

  • A custom quilted tote made by Linda

Winner selection and notification: The winner of the Raffle will be selected by rallyup.com in a random drawing. The winner will be notified by rallyup.com via the contact information provided on the entry form. The receipt by winner of the prize offered in this Raffle is conditioned upon compliance with any and all federal and state laws and regulations. ANY VIOLATION OF THESE OFFICIAL RULES BY ANY WINNER (AT SPONSOR'S SOLE DISCRETION) WILL RESULT IN SUCH WINNER'S DISQUALIFICATION AS WINNER OF THE GIVEAWAY AND ALL PRIVILEGES AS WINNER WILL BE IMMEDIATELY TERMINATED.

Limitation of Liability: By entering you agree to release and hold harmless the Chester-Andover Family Center and DyakCraft LLC and its employees, officers and directors from any liability, illness, injury, death, loss, litigation, claim or damage that may occur, directly or indirectly, whether caused by negligence or not, from (i) such entrant's participation in the Raffle and/or his/her acceptance, possession, use, or misuse of any prize or any portion thereof.

Disputes: THIS Raffle IS GOVERNED BY THE LAWS OF the United States of America AND the state of Vermont, WITHOUT RESPECT TO CONFLICT OF LAW DOCTRINES. As a condition of participating in this Raffle, participant agrees that any and all disputes which cannot be resolved between the parties, and causes of action arising out of or connected with this Raffle, shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action, exclusively before a court located in Vermont. Further, in any such dispute, under no circumstances will participant be permitted to obtain awards for, and hereby waives all rights to claim punitive, incidental, or consequential damages, including reasonable attorneys' fees, other than participant's actual out-of-pocket expenses (i.e. costs associated with entering this Raffle), and participant further waives all rights to have damages multiplied or increased.
