Spring at the CAFC

It is Spring, the garden is beginning to pop and we are still wearing Fleece and Puffy Jackets. We are in Vermont. The Chester-Andover Family Center has been very busy. Here is the latest.

The Prom Room is open for business – We believe every student deserves to attend their prom decked out in an awesome, affordable outfit. Choose from over 150 beautiful, like new prom dresses, tuxedoes, suits and accessories. At a suggested donation of $20, your perfect outfit is affordable. Shop during Thrift Shop hours; Fridays 10-4 and Saturdays, 10-3.

Save the Date - June 26 – for the Heritage Cares Summer Concert Series kick-off. Michelle Wilcox’s Heritage Deli and the CAFC are collaborating for the first event in the series. “Lucky Soul” will be the featured band on the 26th and will be making music from 12-3. We have many surprises in store for this special family event and fundraiser. Watch this space.

Great news…We are collaborating once again with Jess Frasca at Country Girl Diner and other local partners to hold our third Empty Bowl Fundraiser in September. Our Drive-Up Event at the Country Girl last year was a huge success. Planning is in progress…details to come.
