Chester Andover Family Center Empty Bowl
Soup Take-out Fundraiser
Wednesday, June 10 4-6 PM at the Country Girl Diner
Latest News
We are ready for the Chester-Andover Family Center Empty Bowl Soup Take-out Fundraiser. Soup reservations are coming in every day. Thank you. All soups are still available so reserve yours now.
We have added Karass Inn chef/owner Angie Rauscher to our list of bakers. Angie is donating gluten free sweets.
Music lovers will be happy to know that musicians Sam Creigh and Johnny “O” will be in the parking lot entertaining volunteers and the soup line from 4-6.
The Empty Bowl Committee has been working hard to organize a safe and efficient soup pick-up plan. Volunteers will guide you as you enter the Country Girl parking lot going South on 103. There will be two Pre-ordered soup lines and one line for folks who have not pre-ordered.
If you have pre-ordered your soup, simply tell the volunteer your name and put your donation in the bucket. A volunteer will bring your order to your car.
If you have not pre-ordered, we will take your order and bring it to your car.
Family Center volunteers and Country Girl staff are excited to bring the Empty Bowl Dinner, Take-out style to Chester. We could not do this without the support of the community and donations of local chefs.
Appreciation and a thank you go out to all who are contributing to this event.
• Our hosts, Paul and Jess Frasca, chef/owners of the Country Girl Diner
• Ceramic Bowl painting coordinator, Melissa Howe of Endless Creations and her teams of CAES and GMUHS students and staff.
