Everything you need for the holidays will be available at the CAFC Thriftshop starting Thursday, December 5th continuing through the holidays.

Chester-Andover Family Center Volunteers work every day to fulfill our mission to make a difference in our community by providing resources for financial assistance, nutritional food, affordable clothing and household goods.

Chester Holiday Cookie Tour
Sunday, December 8th

Stroll the Stone Village. visit historical homes and and enjoy dozens of delicious homebaked cookies. Tickets are on sale at the Southern Pie Café.

Family Center volunteers will be at the First Universalist Parish Church from noon to 4PM with Dark Chocolate Crackles and Baba-a-Louis Bakery Ginger Cookies.

Andover Snowriders Pancake Breakfast
Saturday, December 14th

Andover Town Hall
8-11AM
Cost: Non-perishable food item or cash
All proceeds benefit the CAFC

Chester and Andover Democrats' Annual Holiday Housewarming Fuel and Food Fundraiser
Monday, December 16th

Stop in at Baba-a-Louis Bakery from 6-8PM to enjoy some holiday cheer and refreshments. Proceeds collected at this event help the Family Center provide Chester and Andover residents with financial assistance for heating fuel. All food donated helps stock the shelves in our Food Shelf.

Stop in to the Thrift Shop during business hours, or give us a call. A volunteer will show you around, explain the different opportunities, and answer your questions

The Chester-Andover Family Center is a 501c3 charitable organization that serves the residents of Chester and Andover.  

The Chester-Andover Family Center makes a difference in our community by providing resources for Financial Assistance, nutritional food, affordable clothing and household goods.  

The Family Center carries out its mission through three programs staffed by volunteers:

  1. The Financial Assistance Program helps residents of Chester and Andover with their heating, electricity and rent bills.
  2. The Food Shelf provides Chester and Andover residents with supplemental food including non-perishable staples, “fresh” produce, meat and dairy.
  3. The Thrift Shop provides affordable clothing and household goods to the public. Proceeds from Thrift Shop sales support our Financial Assistance and Food Shelf Programs.
