The Chester-Andover Family Center is a 501c3 charitable organization that serves the residents of Chester and Andover.
Our mission to provide a helping hand to persons and families in need guides and informs our work in the community.
The Family Center carries out its mission through three programs staffed by volunteers:
- The Financial Assistance Program helps residents of Chester and Andover with their heating, electricity and rent bills.
- The Food Shelf provides Chester and Andover residents with supplemental food including non-perishable staples, “fresh” produce, meat and dairy.
- The Thrift Shop provides affordable clothing and household goods to the public. Proceeds from Thrift Shop sales support our Financial Assistance and Food Shelf Programs.
